Investor Simple - Last updated: September 17, 2026

Investor Simple ("Investor Simple," "we," "us," or "our") operates a structured lending platform and provides information to prospective capital partners and investors. This policy does not cover the personal information we collect that is subject to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which applies to us as a lending-adjacent financial business; see the GLBA Notice in Section 3 below for how that information is specifically handled. By using investorsimple.com or expressing interest in capital participation, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: your name, phone number, and email address. If you pursue a capital partnership, we may also collect financial information, entity or organization details, net worth or accreditation status, your Social Security or Taxpayer Identification number, bank account information, and other information needed to evaluate and document your participation.

Information collected automatically: browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, general location, pages viewed, and standard web analytics when you visit the site, collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiry and, if you move forward, to evaluate and document a capital partnership.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your request for partnership information, evaluate prospective capital partners (including any required accreditation, net worth, or qualification verification), communicate with you about available opportunities and the participation process, prepare and maintain the records associated with any actual capital partnership, and detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, security incidents, and violations of these policies or applicable securities law.

3. GLBA Notice: Financial Information

As a business involved in structuring and facilitating lending transactions, we are subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect nonpublic personal financial information.

What we collect: Social Security number, income and net-worth information, account and transaction information, and other financial data you provide when pursuing a capital partnership.

Sharing: we share this information only for our everyday business purposes, such as processing your participation, maintaining records, and complying with law or reporting to regulators, and with service providers who perform functions on our behalf. We do not share your financial information with unaffiliated companies so they can market to you, and we do not sell it.

Your ability to limit sharing: because we only share for everyday business purposes and with our own service providers, there is no third-party marketing use for you to opt out of.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Information

Investor Simple does not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes. We disclose information only to service providers who work on our behalf, when required by law, subpoena, court order, valid legal process, or applicable securities regulation, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Investor Simple, our partners, or the public, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.

5. How We Safeguard Your Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of financial and identity information you may share with us, including access controls, encryption of sensitive data in transit, and limiting internal access to what's needed to evaluate and document a partnership. No system connected to the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

6. Cookies, Tracking, and Do Not Track

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand usage and improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended if you do. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

7. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Links to Other Websites

Our site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain general inquiry contact information (name, email, phone) for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your interest and for a limited period after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you enter into an actual capital partnership with us, we retain the associated financial, underwriting, and transaction records for at least seven (7) years after the relationship ends, consistent with standard recordkeeping requirements under federal and state securities and tax law, or longer if a longer period is required.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have on file, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion, subject to records we're legally required to retain. Certain state privacy laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, correct, or delete your personal information. If you are a resident of a state with such a law, you may exercise those rights using the contact information below, and we will verify your identity before acting on the request.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
